LAHORE 

The history of lahore is very old.The dialing code of Lahore is 042 (+92 42 ).It is the second big city of Pakistan, and it is the city of Punjab province.Meaning of Punjab is Punj (5) and Aab (Water) that is 5 rivers. It have 5 rivers.The most famous river is Ravi, it is very old one.This river is come from India.Lahore was so small before some years ago, but now it have been spreading day by day and becomes second big city of pakistan.There are many ancient buildings like Badshahi Mosque,Shahi Qila,Minar-e-Pakistan etc.There are also many government buildings such as WAPDA,Police Investigstion Agency,SECETERIAT,High Court,LDA and Punjab Assembly

It have his own identity in cities of Pakistan. There are many places where any body can enjoy and get recreation.It is also called as the city of gardens, becaus it have many gardens a few names are Race Course, Jinnah Garden, Shalimar Garden etc.

The population of Lahore is 7,132,000 according to 2013 Feb survey.The old area is called walled city.This area have 12 gates  there names are :

It is very beautiful area of Lahore, it is over populated area of the city.This area have old gate around it.Some years ago peoples of the walled area says that lahore was not too big as it is now a day.They says  that when they seen outside walled city there was nothing except empty ground, now it is very populated.

There are also many government buildings.It is also the capital of Punjab province.The capital of Pakistan is also here in Punjab its Islamabad.The total area of Lahore is 1,172 km². They government of Punjab is working for the development of this city.In their last term the government worked very well for this city,they have introduced a new transport system in Lahore it is called Metro Bus System.It is very popular among the peoples of this city.

Its peoples are known as alive heart peoples. They like to eat different kinds of food.They are also very kind to their guests.They live happily together.

It have an identity among religious cities in Pakistan. There is a tomb of many Wali-Allah.

The most famous is Data Durbar.That is the most famous, peoples come from deifferent cities for praying Allah.Data Durbar (Ali Bin Usman Alhajwairy R.A) is situated in front of Bhatti Gate.
